A straight-cut kurta over a Farsi salwar is the most forgiving pairing in ethnic wear. The kurta falls to mid-thigh without narrowing at the hip, and the Farsi salwar carries volume from the waist down before drawing in at the ankle. That combination suits a broad frame, a long torso and anyone who dislikes a fitted waistline, because nothing in this set relies on being held in.

Fabric is a soft, breathable cotton in a deep brown. Floral embroidery is worked across the yoke and repeated as a border, so the detail sits where the eye goes first and the rest of the kurta stays plain. Round neck, 3/4 sleeves, relaxed through the body. Sizes are stocked from XS right through 5XL, plus size 4XL and 5XL included.

This is a kurta set for women who need one outfit that covers a temple visit, a daytime function and a normal Tuesday at work. Add jhumkas and juttis for a festive day, or wear it flat-shoed with nothing on the ears for office wear. Two pieces come in the box: one kurta and one Farsi salwar. Hand wash cold, dry in shade.
