Pure cotton, mid-weight and dry to the hand, is the reason this dark green kurti works in April and still works in December. It does not go clammy after an hour on a bus, it takes a print cleanly, and it softens with every wash instead of thinning out. The deep green is a printed shade, not a dyed-through one, so the motif keeps its edges even after a season of use.

The shape is a straight tunic. Round neck, a small cut-out at the centre front, long enough to sit well over leggings or straight pants. The sleeves are detachable: clip them on for a 3/4 sleeve, take them off for a sleeveless kurti when the room gets warm. Sizes are stocked from XS through 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL in plus size, so the same cut is available whether you buy an S or a 5XL.

Care is simple. Cold hand wash separately the first two times, dry in shade, iron on the reverse at a low setting. Wear it over blue jeans for college wear, over ivory palazzos for office wear, or with a plain cotton dupatta for a casual family lunch. Printed and stitched in Jaipur by a workforce that is 80% women artisans, and it ships in biodegradable packaging.
