Nobody needs a third occasion outfit; what is missing is the one that walks between two. A knee length kurti dress covers it. This one is mustard yellow, close enough to gold to pass at a function and far enough from it to wear on an ordinary Thursday.

Rayon, light and fluid, cut A-line so the fabric flares from the yoke down. White thread embroidery covers that yoke in geometric and diamond motifs while the round neckline is left simple. The 3/4 sleeves have soft pleating and a tie-up at the end. Rayon like this drapes close without gripping, so a long day spent in it stays comfortable instead of turning stiff. Cold water wash, shade dry, warm iron on the reverse.
